5 billion people living on planet earth: fighting, squabbling for water, energy, land, oil, resources
5 billion people defining themselves as thesist or atheists, pitted against each other geographically, linguistically and religiously
And each group believing it's path is correct
In the process we have destroyed our environment, created enormous destructive weapons, started wars that seem to have no ending....millions of civilians, women, children have perished in this cross fire
5000 years of historical existence and many spiritual masters and teachings, what have we as humans come to?
Animal, plant and marine species are getting extinct
Everywhere man is building highways, new houses, new malls, churches and temples
Man is creating newer and bigger weapons, heat seeking missiles, larger bombs, penetrating nuclear warheads
While a large part of the world has no drinkable water and lives in temporary residences, others are living in million dollar homes
And with the environmental catastrophy comes the problems of global warming, disease, and population dislocations
So what is our individual responsibility?
